Poppy

Sadly our lovely girl Poppy passed over the rainbow bridge on new years eve. She was diagnosed with kidney failure at the end of December 2015 but shocked everyone with how well she was after that. Just after Christmas, sadly Poppy's health started  to decline. We were administering fluids for her but sadly this didn't help. She was a happy, lively girl who loved everyone. We miss you Poppy xx

October 2016

Max

Our lovely little man Max sadly passed away after a recent battle with cancer of the liver and kidneys. You are loved very much Max by your Mum, Dad and sponsors. Thank you to everyone who helped Max.

Oct 2nd

Sadly we had to say goodbye to 2 of the cats here at the Sanctuary. Little DC and Leo.

We were very shocked to see that on Saturday evening poor Leo lost the use of his back legs. He was taken to the vets today where they diagnosed Leo to have a blood clot in his system which caused permanent paralysis of his back legs. We were happy to help Leo go on with supportive care if he was happy to do so, but sadly the lack of circulation to his rear legs meant that this was not possible. Sweet dreams our lovely boy. xx

DC got ill suddenly with what the vets thought to be FIP related symptoms. She was a lovely little cat and is very much missed. xx

2013

It has been a sad year of us as at All Dogs as we had to say goodbye to 3 of the resident dogs.

Sadly Charlie passed away very suddenly after being diagnosed of heart failure. Despite the vets trying to manage his heart condition, we lost Charlie after just one week. We all miss Charlie terribly. Run free with Hannah at the Rainbow Bridge little man xx

 Misty

We lost our little misty due to quite a sudden illness. She was such a lovely dog. We miss you so much little mist. All our love your Mummy and Daddy.

Sadly, yesterday we said goodbye to our lovely gentle giant Rory. Rory was diagnosed with heart problems in December 2011. He was on daily medication and shocked the vets with how well he was doing. We were told his heart could stop at any time, but Rory was a tough boy and kept going. a couple of days ago Rory became weak and started to fade. it was a very hard decision to help him on his way to Rainbow bridge but we didn't want him to suffer.  Rest in peace Rory , Run Free xx

December 2011

In Loving memory of our darling Shakey Sue who passed away on 25th December. Shakey had heart problems diagnosed earlier in the month and was such a strong little girl. Sadly Shakey's kidneys failed and we had to say goodbye to our lovely girl. We miss you baby, love mummy Lisa & Daddy Tim x

Our beautiful Precious Doris lived with us for just under 2 years, before she died of kidney failure, on Christmas Eve 2011. An ex-breeding cairn, she was totally blind and had been thrown out on to a main road in the dead of Winter by her breeders. Thankfully she was rescued and came to us in early 2010. Doris learned to love and be a wonderful companion to our pugs and yes, even our tabby cat! Despite her blindness and being in nappies for the rest of her life, she taught us and gave us the grace to see so much. She is testament to the fact that no matter how hurt and damaged a dog may be, they can come 'round and flourish and live a good life. We love and miss her dearly! Karen & Simon.

In Loving Memory, Rhea & Al

Al

Rhea & Al, much loved and sadly missed Salukis that belonged to Ian.

In loving memory of Mr.Sparkles

Little Sparky was adopted last year by a dear friend Maureen. Sparky was blind, very underweight and diabetic.
He came to us as an unwanted dog who was due to be put to sleep at the vets. We found out just in time and took Sparky into one of our foster homes. Maureen contacted us with regard to adopting Sparky but lived so far away (Scotland) we wondered if this could be possible. After a home check was carried out by a local charity, Maureen took a flight down to meet Sparky. She instantly fell in love with him and drove him back to Scotland. Sparky shared his home with a little scotty and another westie. Sparky had a lovely life with his doggie family and devoted mum. Our thoughts are with Maureen and her other dogs at this sad time.
